Kian CaulwellKian Caulwell is a Partner and Head of Financial Services Consulting, responsible for delivering regulatory consulting and risk assurance services to Mazars financial services clients. Kian is Mazars’ Individual Accountability Framework Lead, drawing on his UK experience of assisting firms to implement Senior Manager and Certification Regime requirements. With over 15 years financial services experience; he regularly advises financial services institutions in the areas of corporate governance, risk management regulatory compliance and internal audit.
Peter Oakes is a highly experienced Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director of regulated financial services firms. Peter’s business CompliReg specialises in advising companies, C-Suite and Boards on strategy, governance, authorisations and fintech. Peter was appointed the inaugural Director of Enforcement and Anti-Money Laundering Supervision at Central Bank of Ireland (2010-2013). He has worked as a senior regulator in the UK (FSA), Australia (ASIC) and Saudi Arabia (SAMA) and continues to work with regulators on supervisory and enforcement strategies.
Peter founded Fintech Ireland and RegTech Ireland which promote Ireland’s capabilities in these areas. In additon, he established www.SEAR.ie (SEARHub) in 2021, to address the implementation of IAF and SEAR.
