PART 4:
Assessing Fitness
& Probity with Confidence

Best Practices and Guidance For Maintaining Your F&P Program

Join StarCompliance and Mazars virtually for the last installment of our four-part individual accountability regime education series as we dive into Fitness and Probity.

Fitness & Probity isn’t new, but it is in the spotlight as the Central Bank of Ireland looks to strengthen and enhance it under the Individual Accountability Framework. Regardless of whether your firm will be in-scope of the IAF, Fitness & Probity is an area of compliance many firms struggle to comply with efficiently due to its resource intensive nature.

To help you improve your F&P processes, Star’s Gary Muchmore is sitting down with Kian Caulwell of Mazars and Star colleague Andy Atkinson, to provide practical guidance and tips on topics such as:

  • Controlled functions and the proper classification of employees.
  • Preemptive steps firms can take to avoid sanctions.
  • Frequent miss-steps firms make and how to avoid them.
  • Processes perfect for automation.
  • Fit-for-purpose technology and how to leverage it.
